We had the pleasure of being invited to a bacherlorette party at Vertical secrets in Blauwberg road, Table View.
The pole dancing studio itself is small, but very nicely done out with all the things you need at a dance studio. A nice little bathroom and kitchenette, little office, wooden floors, mirrors all round and of course lots of poles set up for dancing.
Juanita, the Vertical Secrets instructor, organised with the braidsmaids that we could all arrive at 6pm and enjoy some drinks and eats, as well as play a few games before the main attraction began.
Right on time at 7pm, Juanita came out with her assistant and we all chose a pole. She first told us a little bit about pole dancing and how SA is doing in terms of competitons ect.
We then got started on the Pole dancing lesson. It was so much fun and she showed us various cute, beginners, sexy dances and lifts on and around the pole. I could definately feel how its Pole dancing for fitness! You are using your arms, core and legs to hold yourself and do the lifts and turns around the pole.
Waneta had oodles of patience and really made it fun, comfortable and worth the money spent.
We then continued with the party, playing music, dancing, drinking, eating and catching up after the class. Its a GREAT way to start a Hen party off and an even better way to keep fit and healthy.
Definately a must try, perhaps not for everyone, but it will certainly work you out and make you feel good about yourself and sexuality.
