We always use Sure Travel for our Get-a-aways and this time we were so glad we did.

From day one and the planning stage we corresponded via email with Layla – she answered all my questions in detail and I assure you there were many.   I changed the booking numbers and made adjustments to the bookings and each time they were all confirmed and correct.
Sure Travel arranged our flights with  :-  Kulula
Kulula got it right on the way to Oliver Tambo – boarded without any problems and the flight landed on time – with no delays.
Our driver from Jhb airport to Suncity was waiting for us, and was very helpful and very polite and pleasant – but David was a bit of a Dare devil driver.  I am sure he is a good driver and he did know the road, but for us it was a little scary when he took risks – when overtaking on the straight road and this was the only time I felt un-easy and nervous.

Suncity staff and the resort - met every expectation and more – we were overwhelmed with the good service - how clean everything was all the time - the luxury and convience of the shuttles up and down, and  the amount of trouble and detail they have gone too.
The motto of Suncity is :- a million thrills – one destination and this is the only way you could describe it.  This city is an engineering masterpiece and the atmosphere is magical.
There are numerous things to do – and that choice is up to the visitor – depending on age, personality type and personal preference, but no-one can complain of boredom.

We booked our own trip to the Elephant Wallow on the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, organised by Gametrackers.
The holiday would have been magnificent without this addition to the itinery – but there are no words to describe the Elephant ride. Our game ranger ,Marion, was on time and sweet and had already relaxed everyone and made us feel welcome and confident before we even got to the reserve.  The guides at the Elephant Wallow were cheerful, helpful and educated.  The Elephants are totally amazing creatures, full of wisdom and grace – they hold within them the power to destruct everything and anything in their path but have a healing – kind spirit.  The guides trust the elephants and themselves and the elephants clearly love and trust them in return.  This is how man and nature should interact, building a relationship with each other physically, mentally and spiritually.  This experience will never leave you.
We were merely a few visitors passing through, and I am sure we did not make much difference to the Elephants, but they made a huge difference to every person who got to share their spirit.

Our trip back to Oliver Tambo was in the hands of Emanual – and he was waiting for us when we checked out.
He was a fantastic driver and we could all relax.  He drove fast enough, took the shortest route, but drove  very carefully and this drive was so much more of a pleasure.

Our irritation of the day was that one of our bags had popped its zip and we had to have it wrapped. We wrote our name onto the bag in order to identify it – the Kulula lady that accepted the bag proceeded to stick the labels over the name, cancelling out our efforts.  The flight was also delayed by an hour which was a little annoying, but I would rather they checked the aircraft and made sure all technical malfunctions were dealt with before flying out, and in the end no harm no faul.

Well done Sure-Travel – for making our travels run like clockwork – and without stress.

Thank-you Sun City for providing us with an oasis right here in our own country and for making us feel so special!

Our thanks, respect and admiration to all the staff at the Elephant Sanctuary - you are doing amazing work, thank you for making my 50th Birthday unforgettable.
