Who can ignore the call of the Fish Eagle?  
This is a rarely seen and rarely heard eagle and at the Fish Eagle River Lodge in Hermon we got to 
Hear this amazing call of the wild and see the Fish Eagle perched in a tree above the River.



Steve and Kay Mapstone supplied all the details I needed and answered all my questions on email prior to our arrival.   I asked many questions and they patiently replied each time.
They welcomed us and showed us around and then left us in peace to continue enjoying our stay.The only problems we had was a very muddy – difficult to navigate with a normal car drive-way




which had filled with water from all the rain, and a door that got stuck (which may have been 
due to the fact that I am weak and blonde).
We were served a home-cooked breakfast on Sunday morning, after a good nights rest 
With thanks to a very nicely designed room and my best friend an electric blanket.We recommend you pay this lovely peaceful lodge a visit – right next to the river and
