THE GOAT’S SHED RESTAURANT – FAIRVIEW FARM

Thank you to The Goat’s Shed on Fairview farm for such an awesome lunch for Mothers Day 
Yesterday.   We sampled the lunch special – tasty – melt in your mouth roast and veg, as well as the
 cheese platter, and the Farm Salad.  To end the meal we enjoyed the Brandy Pudding and 
Cheese Cake.  All the food was first class – and well presented.  The Menu as a good variety to choose from and the prices are reasonable, considering the quality of the food.

Weekend in Wellington

So my partner and I went up to Wellington this past weekend for a family wedding. We decided a while ago to rather stay over and not drive back the same night. Just makes sense, its safer all round. Bonus was - we made a weekend out of it and I think it was just what we all needed.

We drove up in the heat of Saturday, car read 36.5 degrees! 38 degrees in Wellington itself! I had booked us in at the Blouvlei B and B in Wellington itself. They were efficient, friendly and organised and at R 200 ...
