I am a difficult customer at times, and have a list of criteria when looking for a place to eat.
Hudson’s ticked all the boxes.

You could not wish for a more beautiful setting, the immaculate garden, the wishing well, and the lake – with majestic mountains in the distance.
I was impressed with the gazebo’s in which to sit and relax or picnic. This is ideal for older people or families with babies etc, who do not want to sit on the ground or lawn.
The Restaurant has a kiddie park, and is happy to welcome babies too and there is the added bonus of a changing room.
The staff are professional, and when I emailed Rhiannon numerous times, she answered every email promptly, in detail and gave me all the info I required.  The food was delicious and the Buffet well worth the money.  The service is excellent and the Restaurant classy – but you feel comfortable and welcome.  The Restaurant went out of their way to provide the youngest member of our group (a five year old) with a lovely lunch and thoughtfully brought her the cold drink in box form with a straw.
The Restaurant also ensured that the soup was vegetarian for the vegetarian in the family and provided a nice selection of vegetable and salads as well.

Hudson’s pay attention to the small details, and I cannot wait to return for a picnic.
