I have recently noticed the bus drivers are very impatient, and pull away before people can
embark or dis-embark. I have seen more than one person nearly getting squashed in the doors.
Some stations only have one security person on duty.
On many occasions the station door or the bus door does not open, by the time you have
rushed to the next door, the bus is pulling away.
Surely this is a first-world invention ?? The doors should have a sensor – so that if anyone
is standing by a door – the bus driver would know ?? Or the doors should not close if the sensor
detects a person ?? If the doors are not closed – the bus cannot leave the station ???
Perhaps all we can ask for is that more staff are on duty.
I feel the stations need more staff to watch more closely, My-City was marketed as a safe
means of travel for those who are frail, old, slow, pregnant, those who have small children with them or the dis-abled. You may end up being dis-abled by the doors closing on you if more care is not taken.
